Sir Iain Blair says Police should investigate Derek Conway

The news has just broken that Sir Iain Blair is demanding to know why the Derek conway case has not been referred to the police.
But of course, they have.
And they received the letter.
Yesterday I wrote to Scotland Yard:

Acting Commander Nigel Mawer
Economic and Specialist Crime Unit
Metropolitan Police
New Scotland Yard
Broadway
London
SW1H OBG
Dear Commander Mawer,
On 28th January I sent you the enclosed letter regarding Derek Conway MP.
On 30th January there were press reports that you had received the letter and considering the contents.
As approximately one month has now passed since my original letter, I look forward to receiving your reply.
Yours sincerely
Duncan Borrowman

Good job on Conway. Could you perhaps shop Michael Martin too? And his missus?

Did you post it first class this time?

Yes pd I did. but to travel the short distance from my office to Scotland Yard it makes no difference.

For years MP's have been putting a barrier between them and us. Fetch back the Army and storm Parliament, then give it back to the British people. Where's Cromwell when he's needed/

Not sure it is aboslutely necessary to storm Parliament, but it would be good to know that the law of the land applies to MPs as well as the rest of us. As I have said on LDV, Nick Clegg's comments omit any reference to whether Conway should face a police probe, and are very limp as a consequence.
