Clinton v Obama

The Observer has a story that has building for a while on the other side of the Atlantic - the rise of Barack Obama and the damage it could do to Hillary Clinton's bid for the White House.
I have always been a Clinton admirer, though her support for the Iraq War badly tainted that. I actually think a Clinton/Obama joint ticket is the dream scenario. The Democrats need to stay focused, and not allow internal fighting to allow John McCain a free run to the Oval Office.

Hilary Clinton will not be president, she's too disliked, even within the Democrats.

She's also very statist, so naturally, as a liberal, I don't like that.

Obama is charismatic, he appeals to people, has a sense of humour. He has said some silly things (mostly over trade), but I think he's a far better choice.
